It was an honor to sit down with the best and brightest in Philadelphia philanthropy at State of Young Philly’s “State of Young Philanthropy” panel discussion on Monday, October 1!  Philly4Philly Field Manager Rudy Flesher joined Knight Foundation‘s Donna Frisbey-Greenwood, Generosity‘s Mike Kaiser, and The Spruce Foundation‘s Ari Kushner to talk about the impact online micro-philanthropy is having on the sector and how ordinary individuals are harnessing the power of their personal networks to engage with their community.

Philly in Focus logoAs we told you last week, we’re super excited to be a part of Philly in Focus and wanted to share with you our second video for the site.  Philly in Focus is chock full of on-demand Philadelphia-centric video content, from education to sports to music and more.

We posed the question “What Makes Philly Great?” to some of the nonprofit sector’s top movers and shakers, including Taylor Frome, Executive Director of YESPhilly; Josh Romalis, Executive Director of LIFT-Philadelphia; Donna Frisby-Greenwood, Program Director at John S. and James L. Philly in Focus logoWe’re thrilled to now be a part of Philly in Focus, a “community-driven, local video and interactive media network dedicated to supporting the creative efforts of the personalities, businesses and organizations that make this city great.”   How awesome is that?
